GET AWAY CLEAN

Equal parts New York New-Wave, Film Noir, and Victorian Gothic, the story takes place on the filthy streets of London’s Soho district, where amongst the peepshows and porn stores sex is sold openly. The people who frequent these streets come from every walk of life. Some come for work, many for pleasure. As they go about their business they pass Don without giving him a second look as he cleans the pavements and deals with their rubbish. To them he’s just another street sweeper.  A role that takes on an ironic twist when a chance encounter turns into obsession. The encounter leads to Don seeking out one of the exploited sex workers and they are drawn into each others lives. All this while Don’s cannabis use intensifies and he begins to question what is real and what isn’t in his role as the cleaner of Soho.

SCREENWRITING

GRASS
ROOTS

A heart felt love letter to a city that no longer exists. A dramatic interpretation of some of the wilder stories from my autobiography from a time when London was a wilder place. A coming of age tale seen through the eyes of a group of friends as they slide up and down the social scale and seek meaning and direction in the last decade of a dying millennium as ‘Cool Britannia’ becomes cold hard truth and they struggle to find the path to becoming modern men and women. A path that weaves through drunken debauchery in the mansions of the aristocracy, London’s largest drug den, run in’s and escapes from the law, hippie havens and cavernous nightclubs. played out against the backdrop of an era when Drum & Base, Indie and Garage reigned supreme and ID was optional.

ALBUMS

20 years in the making, well if you add it all up two years in the making and 18 years dicking around, but it’s here nonetheless. A selection of tracks from various stages of my souls experience of my current incarnation, experiencing and observing the end of this planets current epoch and it’s hopefully not to bloody and painful rebirth into something new and better. Funny, Angry, Romantic, Sexual, Esoteric and Visual. All the things you’ve come to expect from me.

LIVE PERFORMANCE

A life long fan of Hip-Hop meant I spent years learning that I cannot ride a beat so it’s not rap and out of respect to the many great poets I hesitate to call it poetry. Basically my shows are me furiously ranting about the things we all have good reason to be angry about. Then when I’m worn out I drop some funny and poignant stuff with a bit of stand up mixed in.
